SKY TV SPAIN - News "SKY set to increase subscription fees despite record share price increases and posting massive profits.
Record profits & soaring share prices have not detered SKY (BSKYB) from increasing monthly subscriptions fees.
SKY TV PRICE INCREASES SET TO HIT CASH STRAPPED BRITISH FAMILIES. SKY TV have confirmed that they will be increasing subscription fees for UK SKY TV. Mrs Lucas a resident in Torrevieja said "Its a disgrace" she went on to say "Whilst many Businesses are offering special deals and offers SKY UK decide to put prices up for a second time in twelve months"

SKY TV have stunned members of the Satellite TV Industry by announcing that they will be increasing SKY TV subscription fees as early as September 2013.
This News has left many British Television viewing families in the UK, Spain and France wondering why SKY keep increasing fees when they are making Billions of pounds in profits.

BSKYB have defended the increases
and BSKYB chief executive Jeremy Darroch recently said that with Apple TV, Google TV and Intel IPTV joining the UK market along with Virgin and its Tivo service and most importantly BT who are launching its pay tv service BT Sports 1 and BT Sports 2.
BT’s proposed
launch of Sports TV this August as a way for the telecoms company to “shore up”
its position in broadband. Over the weekend, sources claimed that Sky was poised
to slash the rate of its own internet deals in response. A spokeswoman declined to comment yesterday. Industry insiders said Sky had
an obligation to notify prospective TV customers about any forthcoming changes. Monday’s warning about September’s increase was placed on Sky’s online shop
site.
ESPN & ESPN Classic will be removed from the Sky TV subscription services after as of August 1st 2013 and bearing in mind that ESPN is now owned by BT this of no suprise as the big corporate giants go head to head.
