NEW SKY+HD BOXES NO RF-2 OUT

Someone in SKY UK BSKYB has made the decision to not have RF-2 output function ability on all of the new 500GB SKY+HD BOXES SKY DRX-890W and the new SKY 2TB SKY+HD BOX DRX895W, what does that mean? With the new 500GB SKY+HD BOXES SKY DRX-890W and the new SKY 2TB SKY+HD BOX DRX895W you will not be able to run a cable from the RF-2 output to a 2nd room and control it with a magic eye.



Why have SKY UK done this? 
It is pretty obvious that the reason SKY want to do this is to push people in to purchasing a second SKY HD box for another room, if you are in Spain it is impossible to get a 2nd box on a multi room due to restrictions by suppliers and with SKY UK sometimes requiring a second box to be connected to a UK telephone line.

How can we get round this?
We have got a new RF Modulator that will allow you to still watch and control your new SKY+HD box in another room.

Will this affect my existing SKY+HD BOX?
No this will not affect your existing box.

Can I upgrade my existing box to one of these new SKY+HD WIFI boxes?
