ITV interupted - Temporary loss of ITV - ITV Loss leaves many wondering if they have lost UK TV in Spain

June 5th 2013 - Story written by Jeremy Stenton-Jones   Google+

Tuesday 4th June many residents in Spain received a "we are have technical issues" message whilst watching ITV for certain regions including;

ITV Staff where quick to advise viewers via social media platform "Twitter" that:

Following technical problems at our service provider Arqiva, Dsat viewers had some transmission problems. Normal service is now restored

Further Tweets advised people to use ITV+1 or select another region.

With many people on the Spanish Costa del Sol concerned at the possible loss of UK British TV many panicked thinking that this was it and that UK Television was now lost. The issues last night may or may not be connected to what some call "THE BIG SWITCH OFF" and others "The migration of UK Freesat channels to the new satellite" eaither way many people where immediatly looking for information.

We spoke to Jason Harding from www.mrskytv.com who said "I received 87 e-mails from clients last night and many forums where buzzing with talk" asked what his opinion was on the forthcoming loss of TV on the Costa del Sol he said "Nobody knows for sure, although all of our SKY+HD customers will not be affected as we have now sourced a special piece of kit that will allow all of our SKY TV clients in the Malaga area to access SKY on demand via the internet" There was a great sigh of relief when services where resumed just after midnight.

Commercial Advertorial from - www.mrskytv.com

The subject of IPTV has seen a spike this month with many people looking to be prepared for the planned switch over.

People that have Freesat boxes that do not want to pay anything for UK TV should take a look at the video below, you can now purchase a FREESAT box that also allows you to access IPTV for FREE with no monthly charges. The boxes are all despatched or delivered by an engineer who can install the box for you with all of the channels installed and will spend ten minutes showing you how the system works. The other added bonus for people that keep a property in Spain but also travel back and forth to the UK is that this FREESAT & IPTV box allows you to insert you UK or Irish SKY cards.

This box is €395 has IPTV capabilities and allows access to UK "ON DEMAND" TV such as BBCi PLayer etc and RTE, but also you can watch BBC1, BBC2, ITV,ITV2, CH4,CH5, Five USA etc all for FREE and watch LIVE via the internet.

Whilst this box may be €100 more expensive than a regular HD 1080p FREESAT satellite receiver having the facility to swith to IPTV (internet TV) is an excellent back up facility and the extra €100 is well spent.

For order call 618585051 or text "I NEED IPTV" and we will call you back
