Loss of UK SKY TV & "British Television Channels in Spain" - "Big switch off"

We would like to confirm what is taking place at present with the changeover of satellites and all of the SCAREMONGERING that is taking place in various scum bag Newspapers like the recent story in the Euro-Weekly newspaper that recently ran a "story" claiming that all TV channels would be lost on the 19th of July. From start to finish the story was full of nonsense and crafted to scare people about loosing UK Television in Spain. This is disgusting in our opinion.

Astra 2E was supposed to be launched on the 23rd of July this is not going to happen due to a recent rocket exploding carrying $200 Million worth of satellites last week, whilst investigators carry out their investigations Astra 2E has been placed in storage. So why has the Euroweekly published such nonsense? Anyone know who the writer David Anderson is? How can he write such a missleading story?

Due to recent issues with the launch of Astra 2E being postponed, we beleive that nobody will have any issues with UK TV until Nov-Dec 2013 and even then only some channels will be affected although nobody really knows 100% what will happen.

"What should I do I am worried about loosing BBC1 & ITV at our Villa in Marbella as the wife will go mad!"

We have had many clients contact us asking what to do as they are worried about loosing ITV and BBC in Spain. Every situation different so we have broken down our suggestions in to several sections as follows;

SKY HD BOX OWNERS

We have supplied loads of clients with UK SKY+HD BOXES in Spain and for these clients should they be in an area that looses UK BBC1 and UK ITV 1 etc then we would suggest buying a UK VPN router so that they can access UK TV "On demand" using the SKY+HD boxes CAT5 cable connection port on the rear of the SKY+HD BOX. Accessing the "SKY ON DEMAND" service using your SKY+HD Box is so easy.

FREESAT SATELLITE TV SYSTEMS

We can provide FREESAT satellite receivers that are also able to access IPTV content and all UK TV "on demand" services with NO MONTHLY FEES, these boxes also have a card slot so you can bring your UK SKY CARD on Holiday. The benefit of this type of box is that you get the best of both worlds as the box has IPTV facilities with thousands of FREE channels and FREE plug in applications. The facility to access BBC on demand and ITV on demand 4 on demand is also a good fail safe should you loose the UK top 5 channels. We are recommending this box on all new installations on the Costa del Sol, Granada and Portugal.

IPTV BOXES SPAIN

IPTV SET-TOP BOXES - Are perfect providing you have a minimum of 2MB connection speed, these specific internet based TV set top IPTV boxes are ideal when it is not possible to install a satellite dish or you are in an area that has no BBC or ITV available via satellite.

Russian Proton rocket explodes 2nd July 2013

Possible delay to "Losss of UK TV in Spain" Costa del Sol residents may have got a last minute pass as rocket explodes.

A Russian Proton rocket as used by Astra to launch satellites in to Space exploded shortly after take off yesterday, reports are suggesting that this may have a knock on effect and cause a delay in the launches of other communication satellites including possibly maybe Astra 2E that was due to be responsible for 100'000 British ex-pats to "loose their uk television" on the Costa Del Sol when it was planned to launch this month.

SHOCKING VIDEO FOOTAGE

Without a doubt this rocket explosion will set back other launches and could see things set back by a month or two or possibly longer.
