BBC HD Olympic Streams 

Many people in Spain have been having issues with "NO SATELLITE SIGNAL" being received and have started to use 12.209 instead.

We beleave that the BBC will be using 12.129 for the BBC HD STREAMS for the 2012 Olympics

BBG HD OLYMPICS is expected to be broadcast -

12.129 V, 12.402 V, and 12.441 V (12.421 H is also a possibility) and the remaining BBC SD Olympic Stream 8 screens will either be on 11.642 V or the BBC's existing 11.954 H

 The BBC's Olympic Streams are now testing free to air in SD on the Astra satellite at 28.2 degrees east, frequency is 10.920 Horizontal, Symbol Rate 22.000, FEC 5/6, as I write this there are only numbers for channel names, there are 8 channels and they are named as follows - '7802' (showing one of the BBC's Sport Streams from 11.954 H), '7808' (showing Olympic Streams Stream 5), '7814' (showing Olympic Streams Stream 8), '7820' (showing Olympic Streams Stream 11), '7826' (showing Olympic Streams Stream 16), '7832' (showing Olympic Streams Stream 17), '7838' (showing Olympic Streams Stream 20) and '7844' (showing Olympic Streams Stream 23), the BBC announced that it would have 48 Olympic Streams, 24 in SD and 24 in HD, on frequency 11.469 Horizontal, Symbol Rate 27.500, FEC 2/3 there are a further 8 numbered channels which presumably will be for BBC Olympic Streams but these are currently encrypted, nevertheless these 8 channels are named as follows - '7804', '7810', 7816', '7822', '7824', '7830', '7836', and '7842', as I said these are currently encrypted but I expect they will not be for long!

 The BBC's Olympic Streams are now also testing free to air in SD on the Eurobird 28A satellite at 28.5 degrees east frequency of 11.469 Horizontal, Symbol Rate 27.500, FEC 2/3 these are a further 8 numbered channels which are for BBC Olympic Streams, these 8 channels are named as follows - '7804', '7810', 7816', '7822', '7824', '7830', '7836', and '7842', yesterday the Astra satellite at 28.2 degrees east frequency of 10.920 Horizontal, Symbol Rate 22.000, FEC 5/6, became active with 8 numbered channels and they are named as follows - '7802' (showing one of the BBC's Sport Streams from 11.954 H), '7808' (showing Olympic Streams Stream 5), '7814' (showing Olympic Streams Stream 8), '7820' (showing Olympic Streams Stream 11), '7826' (showing Olympic Streams Stream 16), '7832' (showing Olympic Streams Stream 17), '7838' (showing Olympic Streams Stream 20) and '7844' (showing Olympic Streams Stream 23), the BBC announced that it would have 48 Olympic Streams, 24 in SD and 24 in HD.
